Rocco Katastrophe (Rocco Kayiatos), also known by just Katastrophe, is a San Francisco-based rapper and producer. In past albums, he went by just Katastrophe, but for his latest album Second Hand Emotion, released June 26, 2012, he chose to change to Rocco Katastrophe. Kayiatos began competing in poetry slams in 1997. After winning the 1998 Youth Speaks poetry slam, he went on tour with Sister Spit's Rambling Road Show tour.
