Rockstar Crush started as a side project of David Frank Jr (Lead Singer/ Guitar), a rhythm guitarist for the now defunct Seattle band, Playdough Canon. Contrary to the Epic Rock styling of Playdough Canon, Rockstar Crush was deliberately simplistic blending subtle punk styles with a bubble-gum Beatles-esk pop influence.
