Swiss jazz pianist Roger Walch (born 1965 in St.Gallen) and Japanese Shakuhachi flutist Taro Matsumoto (born 1973 in Nara) are the members of a music duo formed in 2004 in Kyoto, Japan. The unusual combination of Japanese bamboo flute and piano caught the attention of both a Western and Japanese audience.
