Roots Residue is a Dutch Hard Rock band, formed in Early 2009. Ruben Serhalawan on guitar and vocals, Marnix Waterval on drums and Martijn van der Pal on bass. The band started with Ruben and Marnix jamming in a small 2m by 5m bedroom and because neither were willing to learn each others favorite music they started writing their own material (to this day no cover attempts have succeeded...).
