Reggae band Roots Syndicate recorded their only hit "Mockin' Bird Hill" as a tune to a Dutch television commercial. The first version was already recorded in 1951, but producer Jaap Eggermont acknowledged the song's hit potential - even forty-plus years after of its initial recording.
