Rough Rope is a sludgy noise rock band from Chattanooga, TN. In the summer of 2010, recent Detroit import Ben Roeske (ex-Nain Rouge, ex-Mean Mother) and Jerry Reed (Gravebound, ex-Hoth) discussed and subusequently got together to hash out some "noisy" rock songs. Liking the direction of how things were going they quickly invited Brent Joly (Gravebound) in on bass. With in a few practices the basis for a live set and demo was written.
