In the summer of 2006, Andrew Chu moved to London and met musician/producer Alex Beitzke. As of 2009, the alias Rural Life was taken to represent the recordings and performances of the duo. For the most part, Andrew writes the songs initially, and Alex arranges them with various instrumentations. The result is, It was me It was you It was about saying goodbye, an 8-track album they recorded and produced together.
