ruth allison was a solo project accompanied by other musicians. The majority of "what's left" was recorded in 2006 with John McCauley of Deer Tick and Jessica Nicole, production help from Brendon Massei of Viking Moses. One track included Karl Blau, recorded originally for a What the Heck Fest compilation. Kevin Erickson helped with overdubs and overall album mastery/production.
