Sadollah Nasiri, was born in 1976 in Hanis, a small village near Sanandaj, Iran. He began his musical study at the age of 5 in the family, playing daf in the Khaneqah of Sheykh Abbas Kumayin. He was benefitted from his father's excellent voice and instinctively learned most maqams of Kurdish music. At 12 he studied general theory of music and began to play divan.
