Saint Towel is a german indie-folk band which was formed in late 2004 by Alexander Voelz and Tim Garling in Wismar(in the north of Germany. Garling (bass) and Voelz (vocals and guitar) got to know each other in school when they started their first band called Trivial. Besides a lot of different influences they see themselves as part of the „New Acoustic Movement“.
