Sarah Bowman was born in Davenport, Iowa. She started writing songs at an early age, and performed her songs with her twin sister Claire starting at the age of 14. She has written and released 5 albums including 3 albums as a duo with her twin sister, called The Bowmans Sarah is a trained cellist. She plays guitar, piano and other odd instruments.
