Scaythe is an experimental rock band with heavy roots in Gothic and Industrial culture. Scaythe was formed in early 1999 by industrial vocalist and performance artist Thomas Parlow. The first year saw a revolving door of collaborations until the permanent addition of Xamuel Kolt as guitarist and vocalist. Scaythe's first three albums were recorded in Tampa and featured a mixed bag of industrial rock and industrial dance flavored tracks.
