Shahin Alavi was born in 16th Feb.1961 in Iran. He began his studying the guitar with Mr.shahrokh Partovi at the age of 17 in Tehran ,and continued playing it under the guidance of Bagher Moazen . His perseverance in playing this instrument has made him master it thoroughly .
