The Shams Ensemble is a musical group that performs Sufi, Kurdish folk and Persian traditional music with the Tanbur, Daf (frame drum), Ney and various other percussion instruments. The Shams Ensemble was established by Keikhosro Pournazeri's efforts in 1977 in Kermānshāh, Iran.
