Shortway's lyrics & chords

Shortway was originally formed as a 5 piece with a much longer name. Most of the original members heralded from Fairbanks, AK until their mass exodus to Portland, Oregon in 1998-99. They released a 3- song demo as a 5-piece that was self titled and immediately began work on their first full-length. During production of that first record the band experienced difficulty when one of their vocalists and one of the guitar players quit the band due to mounting family responsibilities and concerns.
