Siebenbürgen was created in 1994 by lead singer and guitarist Marcus Ehlin. Following the release of two demo tapes; “Siebenbürgen” and “Ungetum Pharelis”, the band provoked the interest of Austrian metal label Napalm Records and was subsequently offered a recording contract with them in 1997.
