Siegelhead started in late 2004 following the meeting of its two members, Thomas Mugler and Avi Pitchon, in a jam session in the Neukoln district of Berlin. Agreeing on the importance of Van Halen's 'Jump' in the history of pop, they exchanged phone numbers and soon embarked on their quest to 'take electroclash to its extreme logical conclusion'.
