Silence Kit is an indie\post-rock band from Moscow, Russia, named after the song by Pavement. "Silence Kit" formed in April 2002 when to the brit-pop "Dairy High" band’s core Boris Belov, Grigoriy Alexanyan and Fedor Dmitriev joined Andrey Gavrilov – keyboards (ex-guitarist and voice of “Mosty” band) and Sergey Bogatov – bass (ex-“Squash”).
