Singing Fools emerged onto stagnant and stale North American music scene in the cold autumn of 1982. Their first release, a 7-inch vinyl single called "The Bum Rap", took unsuspecting listeners in the drug-crazed, Soviet-style socialistic Canadian welfare state completely unawares.
