Sky Buttons was a five-piece underground indie rock band based in Elmira, NY from around 2005 to 2008. The band was fronted by bassist/vocalist Will Prapestis, and became well-known in Elmira and Fredonia, NY for their energetic house shows. Prapestis also served as the primary songwriter for the group, setting the often surreal lyrics of guitarist Alex Shephard and drummer Bobby Frisk to music.
