SkyHunter played original, guitar-drenched, soulful, bluesy rock. Powerful and melodic, the music recalls the classic rock of the 70s but with a modern edge. Formed in 2005 by singer, guitarist and songwriter Martin Smith, the band was originally a blues and blues-rock band under the name "Red House Blues". Changes in personnel have led to a more hard rock oriented sound (although a strong bluesy feel remains on many tracks).
