Brighton's melodic punk/hc 89-91. Although only in existence for two years, SLEEP made quite an impact on the UK melodic punk scene in a short time. Through the Suffocate 7 inch and Cat And Mouse LP both released on Meantime Records, and a string of shows up and down the country (including supporting QUICKSAND on their UK tour) SLEEP dealt in melodic hardcore akin to the likes of HDQ, SNUFF and INSTIGATORS.
