Smartboys are a power pop band from Toronto Canada. The band initially started as a instrumental side-project by Mike Haliechuk and Jonah Falco, both from hardcore band Fucked Up. The two would work on Smartboys inbetween breaks, during the recording sessions of Fucked Up's Hidden World album. It wasn't until potential vocalist Tim Westburg, emailed Haliechuk in 2012 with vocal tracks that the actual band formed.
