The origins of Parasite date back to 1992, when after leaving a death metal outfit from Ada Oklahoma called Destructive Criticism, Joe D. & Brad Day sought to combine thrash metal, doom metal and stoner metal with some of the classic 70's party rock atmosphere & charisma of bands such a KISS and Black Sabbath.
