Visual-kei/gothic band consisting solely of women. Formed in 1995 in Fukuoka, Japan. Solfege's only constant members were the guitarist Rais and drummer Sia. The first line-up was complemented by Nao on vocals/flute and Nozomi on bass. Three demo-tapes and the first mini-album, Lacunes d'air (1999), were released before Nozomi's replacement by Sakura for only the release of the band's 4th demo-tape; after so Sakura left.
