Somber Light is an instrumental band from Italy born in the end of 2008 , when Carlo Polo , the ex-guitarist of a brit-pop band named Oversonic , decided to create a new band and to try new introspective styles as post-rock , sludge and shoegaze and so posted a bulletin . The first answers came from Leonardo Lucchese a guitarist with 4 years of the experience at the Lizard Academy , then came the bassist Francesco Danilo Felis , ex bassist of a punk-rock band Luiding .
