Soulish was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Atlanta @ 3 years young . While attending Tri Cities High School, he and and longtime friend Rukus McKoy started rhyming together as a group in their senior year. For the next few years they wrote music all day, on lunch breaks, on the bus, trains, walking home, etc... and eventually started recording.
