Brandon Colar (known by his stage name sounds_absurd) was born in Chicago and raised in a musical family. He started writing music in 2000 and in 2012 he finally released his debut material – EP called The Progression. In 2008 sounds_absurd won the Vickie Winans singer/songwriter nationwide contest.
