Southern Energy Ensemble had been an overlooked band for a while or maybe still is as they released only one album the 1976 eponymously named LP. It only makes one to wonder why the band is not promoted by the label Black Fire Records, the record company that Plunky Branch and Jimmy Gray started in 1975.
