Soviet Octopus was formed in january of 2009 by four dudes living in and around Elkhart indiana. Since then they have recorded songs in any genre that they see fit whenever they see fit. currently there are only two regular members of Soviet Octopus, Nick Nelson (Bass, Backing vox, Tambourine, Didgeridoo, keys, The Alumatron etc.) and Zack Tharp (Guitars, Vox, keys, drum programing) who focus on the avante garde and progressive influences in their metal.
