There are at least two artists called Sparkles. 1. Sparkles were a 60's garage, psych, rock & roll band from Levelland Texas. Best known for "No Friend of Mine" originally released in 1967 and immortalized as a garage classic with it's inclusion on the first Nuggets record. Originally formed in '58. First single was "U.T."
