Specs Hildebrand (real name: Theo van Scherpenseel, born 16 August 1950) is a Dutch singer-songwriter from the town of Volendam, The Netherlands. Although his work is primarily country-rooted, he is considered by many to be part of Volendam's palingsound ('eel sound') scene.
