Spias was formed in 1989. The band played and recorded locally in Caracas, Venezuela. First an EP titled "Símbolos Extraños", then an LP titled "Tres Cruces". The band lineup changed several times during its 8 year life (they disbanded in 1997). Their definitive and final lineup was: Luis Miguel Perez - Vocals and Bass, Victor Hugo Mendoza - Rhythm guitars and Keyboards, and Claudio Leoni - Drums.
