"The Starry Saints were born in 2009 when former band mates, Allen Davis and Clint Sargent joined forces on a new music project resulting in a blend of alternative, modern, progressive, shoegazing, indie, pop-rock music. Davis and Sargent originally played together with The High Violets. In 2002 they collaborated on The High Violets first album “44 Down.” Sargent played lead guitar and composed most of the songs, while Davis played bass guitar and produced the album.
