stars for the banned is a modular music project founded by robert guenther. the vienna-based artist writes and records songs in his little living room studio and performs either alone or with other musicians. the sound is a mixture of analogue and digital soundscapes, sad, hopeful, unpredictable, dreamy and uncomfortable at the same time. there are no arrangement rules, lots of different classic and weird sound generators get mixed together and create an atmosphere that seeks uniqueness.
