Static Future is an alternative rock band, formed in 2011 in Glasgow, influenced by bands like The Walkmen, Talking Heads, and The Wedding Present.. Coming together after years of playing in other bands, exploring Glasgow's heady club life and a love of bongos, cowbells and guitar music they released their debut EP at the end of May 2013, described as 'quirky and inventive' by the Scottish Fiction blog/podcast.
