Stayte is Joshua Bradford (vocals, lyrics) and Clayton Worbeck (guitars, electronics). Stayte signed to Nefer Records in 1999 and released its first album Growing Pains that same year. The follow-up release Abandon in the Amber [2002] propelled Stayte to sell-out shows at the Whiskey A Go-Go, the Roxy and the House of Blues.
