Stefan Obermaier grew up in Salzburg and was "breast fed with his fathers collection of old Funk, Soul & Jazz recordings." He eventually turned to the rhythms associated with the legendary Viennese Downbeat scene and emerged as a successful DJ, producer and keyboardist while in Salzburg. Stefan eventually relocated to Vienna and intensified his work as a producer.
