Subvert Blaze (サバートブレイズ) is a Japanese psychedelic/hard rock band. They released two albums, 'Subvert Art' (1990) and 'Subvert Art II' (1992) on Alchemy Records. They disbanded in 1993. In January 2004, both albums plus extra material got reissued on a 2CD set as 'Subvert Art Complete Works'. The drummer, Okano (岡野太) plays/played with bands like Acid Mothers Temple, Andromelos, Balzac, Cosmic Invention, Ghost, Hijokaidan and Live Under The Sky.
