It all began (Whatever has started) at pukkelpop 2003 when Kris and Alex started thinking about starting a band (which would be called FreeShowerHot). Early september they recruited Timmy on drums and had their first rehearsal. They then settled on the moniker Sunburntnation (Taken from a line from Don Juan) and dropped FreeShowerHot.
