Their sound takes inspiration from the best alternative rock bands including Porcupine Tree, Muse and Radiohead. Sunday Recovery formed in 2009 in Rome when the Italian composer Gianluca Cucchiara started collaborating with the singer Mirko Petrini and the guitar player Fabio Staffieri.
