The band was founded in September 2006 in Kaliningrad (ex Koenigsberg). The constant members of Sunset Wings are: Alexey Popov (guitars, voice), Tatiana Korotkova (voice, percussion, harmonica), Vladimir Petropavlovskij (flute, recorder, tin whistles), Anna Ivanova (cello). Sunset Wings has started with songs on traditional ballads and verses of Rossetti, Beddowes, Blake, Keats, Kipling and during 2006-2007 recorder their debut album "Covering for Solace" at Brudenia Studio.
