swansea recreation centre started in august of 2009 when dan recorded "Étienne Brûlé: hero to the max", an 11-track album during two sweltering weeks in his london flat. the album was picked up by a small american label, workerbee records, and, soon after, rob, gauthier and ash were recruited to fill out the band.
