Swim Herschel Swim formed in 1989 at Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah, and split in 1993 after a whirlwind, glorious life. For kids growing up in the Provo area, and for many students at BYU, Swim served as a great ska gateway band. The band brought many bigger ska acts to Utah, including No Doubt, Skankin' Pickle, Dance Hall Crashers, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Aquabats, and more.
