The band was founded in Velká Ohrada, Prague in June 1996 as a trio of Ta Jana, the author, Vendelín Tůma, the pianist, and Roman Pluhař, the drummer. Six weeks later they played their first gig made up of five songs in Svojšín near Stříbro.
