Formed in early 2009 as one of the many side projects of Zephram (ex-Zlandicar, Metempsychosis, etc). He describes Taco Island's manifesto as "making music without preconceptions about genre while eating chicken-fried steak, BIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAATCH".
