The Gold Bug is a roman trio formed at the beginning of the 90s. They started from punk influenced personal experiences, moving on to their own sound, pretty much similar to the "indie" context, more likely to post-rock. Their first studio recording dates back to 1994 and was their first self production, "Elegy". 1994 also saw the beginning of their live performances that brought them in 1996 to the Enzimi Festical and in 1997 to the selections for Arezzo Wave.
