The 75s were a lively little power pop trio from St. Louis, Missouri. The band was formed in the winter of 2006 by Scott Lasser and Laurel Mydock, former bandmates in the short-lived garage band The Downcasts. Mydock and Lasser practiced on their own for a couple of months, all the while searching for a female bass player who would be willing to sing backup and lead when needed.
