Luke Houglum (singer, multi-instrumentalist) and Ian Shuler (drummer, writer) met in Bellingham, WA, where they spent several years playing together and with good friends. Their love for Brit-rock and Motown culminated in heavy use of a free organ, tossed in with their player piano.
