The Black Ships is an name of at least two rock bands: [1] An English rock band (after mid-2012, also known as Black Submarine), formed in November 2008 by former Verve members Nick McCabe and Simon Jones, following the split of the Verve after the release of the 2008 reunion album Forth. The band also features Coldplay/Goldfrapp collaborator Davide Rossi, who also featured on Forth and shared the stage with the band at festivals including T In The Park and Glastonbury Festival, and drummer Mig Schillace who has also worked with Portishead. ...read more
